Garrett Mack, PGA
Head Golf Professional / Director of Instruction
Garrett began his career in golf as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Milwaukee Country Club in 1999. For 5 years he studied the golf swing from legendary golf instructor Manual de la Torre. Manual was consistently ranked among the top 10 golf instructors in the world and voted as the first ever PGA National Golf Instructor of the Year in 1975. Since beginning his career, Garrett has gained membership into the PGA of America, and in 2013 was awarded the Wisconsin PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year, an award given to the future leaders of the game of golf. He has experience in golf operations at public, resort, and private courses mastering customer service with facilities such as Milwaukee Country Club, the Grand Geneva Resort, West Best Country Club, and River Club of Mequon before taking over golf operations here at Western Lakes.
"Over my career, I have continued to study the golf swing from other great golf instructors and have applied this knowledge to my teaching philosophies which are based mostly around the teachings of Manual de la Torre. I believe it is important to help make the golf swing easier to understand by explaining it in ways people can easily relate to. Whether you are a beginning golfer looking to learn the basics or a low handicap player looking to play at a high level of competition, I can help bring out your best game."
Colton Brendel
Associate Golf Professional / Director of Junior Golf Programs
I learned and played golf as a child, but it wasn’t until later in life that I truly fell in love with the game, and the golf swing’s harmony and beauty. I found something to truly be passionate about in my life, and that is why my goal is to spread this game to as many people as I can. I am currently enrolled in the PGM program and I’m working towards becoming a full-fledged PGA teaching professional.
