WLGC Junior Program Highlights

 

About the Staff

· Our PGA Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction is Garrett Mack. He has 25+ years of teaching experience, is a certified US Kids Instructor, and is a member of the positive coaching alliance.

· Colton Brendel is one of the two Lead Instructors of the Junior Golf Program.  Colton is entering his 4th year as a golf instructor and is currently in level 3 of the PGA PGM program.

· Jacob Fobes is the other Lead Instructor of the Junior Golf Program.  Jacob is in his second season teaching junior golf and recently time in the off-season attending seminars which will help him become an even more proficient instructor.

· Joining them are numerous local successful high school & collegiate golfers, many of whom went through this program themselves!

 

Facilities & Instruction

· One of the best overall range and practice facilities in southeastern Wisconsin is the setting of our program.

· Students will rotate through 3 (three) stations: Full Swing, Short Game, Putting, and Rules/Etiquette (taught throughout each group)

· Students are placed together in small groups of like age/ability and receive instruction in each golf area every week. This structured instruction will allow each student to maximize building their golf skills and provide more personalized instruction.

 

Golf on the Western Lakes Golf Course

All students in the Western Lakes Junior Golf Program may play golf at reduced rates!

· Thursday evenings after 6:00pm & Saturday and Sunday evenings after 3:00pm

· Junior green fee is $7; adult green fee is $12

· Adult cart fee is $8, junior golfers may ride along for free when the cart is driven by an adult

· Junior golfers must be accompanied by an adult
