Wednesday July 24th 2024 - Proceeds to benefit First Responder's Survivors Fund

On February 6th, 2019 Matthew Rittner was killed while helping excute a search warrant while a member of the Milwaukee Police Department's Tactical Enforcement Unit.  Matthew was a husband, father, Marine Reservist and a member of M.P.D., T.E.U.  He had served two tours in a Iraq and was already a 17 year veteran of M.P.D. He was the kind of person and officer that you wanted to show up at your home if you called the police.

Matt left behind a wife and a four year old son.  Three days after Matt's funeral his widow found out that she was pregnant.  The proceeds from the first annual fund raiser helped with a lot of day-to-day tasks that we may take for granted.  We helped secure lawn work, snow removal and other odd jobs that need to be done.  We also helped with tree removal by coordinating volunteers and equipment. 

It was from that first event that an idea was spawned to create an organization dedicated to our First Responders.

First Responders Survivor's Fund Mission:

Our goal is to help support the survivors of our fallen first responders by personally providing financial support within 48 hours.
